A simple, independent review process
CheckMyRates is built to help UK SMEs gain clarity over essential business costs, using a consistent, evidence-led process.
We don’t start with assumptions.
We don’t push switching.
We review what’s relevant, validate it, and report findings clearly.
Step 1
Upload your bill or request a review
Start by clicking Upload a bill (or Start a review) and providing:
-
Basic business details
-
Relevant bills, contracts, or account information (where available)
At this point, you’ll also be shown the terms and initial review cost before you submit.
Nothing is processed until you confirm and continue.
We review independently
Step 2
Once submitted, we review the information independently to check for:
-
Errors or inconsistencies
-
Risk (contractual, pricing, classification, renewal exposure)
-
Inefficiency (waste, duplication, misalignment to needs)
Not every service applies to every business. We focus only on what’s relevant to your situation and what the information supports.
We validate our findings
Step 3
We don’t send speculative “maybe” findings.
Before anything is presented to you, we validate what we believe to be:
-
A confirmed issue
-
A confirmed risk
-
Or a confirmed opportunity to improve control or cost position
This keeps the review credible and avoids unnecessary action.
You receive a clear findings summary
Step 4
You’ll receive a clear summary that explains:
-
What we reviewed
-
What we found (if anything)
-
Why it matters
-
What happens next
If nothing is found, you’ll get confirmation and clarity and the review ends cleanly.
If issues are found, the engagement progresses to resolution in line with the agreed terms.
Step 5
Execution and Resolution
Where confirmed issues are identified, the review moves into execution.
At this stage, we:
-
Progress the agreed actions to address confirmed issues
-
Manage challenges, corrections, or adjustments where appropriate
-
Liaise with relevant parties to pursue resolution
-
Track progress and outcomes until the matter is concluded or formally closed
Execution is evidence-led and proportionate.
We do not pursue speculative actions or unnecessary changes.
Not every issue results in a financial adjustment.
Some outcomes are corrective, preventative, or risk-reducing.
